As the question says, I need a metric spline yoke for my tractor. Does anybody have a source for oddball or possibly custom made spline yokes? I really don’t feel like having to buy this direct from John Deere, because in their infinite wisdom they don’t sell the yoke that wears out, they sell the whole shaft for $$$$$$. Picture of a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for your time.

One of my tech messes with old tractors, and has used Yesterday’s Tractors with good success. Might be worth a shot.

Turns out my picture is misleading. I need a spline yoke for a 2305 that is only about 6 years old. Deere sells the complete shaft for like $500-$700 or something stupid. The only thing wrong with mine is the slip yoke that powers the hydraulics is all worn out. So what should be maybe $50 worth of yoke and $10 worth of U joint is stupidly expensive to fix.

“Tractorlopnik” should be renamed Jacropnik.

Ah, got it. I have no idea where to go, then. Good luck with it!

A 2305 is a fairly common small tractor, I’m frankly quite surprised they don’t have the yoke. Although, money is money and if there’s one thing JD likes it’s money.

I’m shocked that I haven’t been able to find a replacement yoke. I can’t be the first to run into this and from what I’ve seen guys with tractors are cheap. It seems like if someone has found the proper yoke they would have posted it online but I can’t find anything in my searching.

I kept forgetting about Grainger. A quick search came up empty. McMaster didn’t have anything either. Maybe my guy at Motion will be able to come up with something.

Well if you don’t find anything soon let me know, I have a good friend that works at a Deere dealer at the parts desk, maybe he would know something. I could ask him next I talk to him if you’d like

Thanks, but I’ve been dealing with the local Deere dealer. JD doesn’t sell the yoke separately, they only sell the complete shaft assembly. The local dealer talked to DTAC and that is the info they are getting from Deere.
